Syllabus for H.A.S. Exam

There will be two papers for HPAS(Preliminary) examination

1) General studies
2) General Aptitude Test.
Both the paper will be of 200 Marks each containg 100 objective type questions, and time duration will be of 2 Hours..
The syllabus is given under and it includes questions on Himachal Pradesh :-

Paper- 1.   General Studies :

                   This paper will be of 200 Marks and includes 100 objective type questions from the syllabus of History,  Geography, Art & culture , Political and socio economic development of Himachal Pradesh, current events of international and national importance Indian History,  India and World Geography social,  physical,  economic geography, Indian Polity and Governance constitution, political system,  Panchayti Raj,  Public Policy,  Right issues etc.
             
Paper - II     Aptitude Test :

                   This paper will be of 200 Marks and there shall be 100 Objective type questions from the syllabus Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, logical reasoning and analytical ability, decision making and problem solving, general mental ability, basic numeracy, data interpretation (Charts,  graphs, tables and data sufficiency etc.) English language comprehension skills.
There will be Provision for Negative Marking for wrong answers.
