LAKES IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

The various beautiful lakes in Himachal Pradesh are :

MANDI :-

Kumarwah lake. Prashar lake, Rewalsar lake ( There is a Buddhist monastery and Temple on the bank of this lake ), There are seven lakes on the top of the hill range rising from the Rewalsar base,  and the important are known as :
Sukhsar lake, Kalsar lake,  Kunt Bhyog lake.

CHAMBA :-

       Khajiyar lake between Chamba and Dalhousie,  Lama lake,  Manimahesh lake.

KANGRA :-

       Dal lake,  Kaveri lake

KULLU :-

    Bhrigu and Dashahr lakes.

KINNAUR :-

  Nako lake

SHIMLA :-

    Chandra Nahan lake, Karali lake, Bradonsar lake.

LAHAUL & SPITI :-

  Chandertal lake and Surajtal lake.

BILASPUR :-

  Givind Sagar ( an artificial lake formed on sutlej river ).

SIRMOUR :-

 Rainuka lake ( Largest lake of Himachal 38 Kms. ) and Suketi lake.
